Project Reality!
3rd_eye pictured above. Great shot there! And a BIG thank you to all the models who participated in Project Reality, which sprang up on a whim this past week when I wondered what people, things, and places would like when transformed into real photos using Gemini A.I.
After Kiry's buggy-bash event, a group of us gathered at Goober_Goalie's GRB dealership for a car cruise. Goobs made 10 of his new buggies available to borrow, so a good number of us were rolling in GBRs for the evening. I'm going to buy one of his red ones next week.
With me in front as the pace car, we drove North and then headed West along the Aurora coast, then headed back down South to San Francisco Bay. Fortunately, no one got lost since it's a relatively quick drive -- no more than 5 minutes at most.
When we met at my Kortt-designed pavilion, I gave a mini-presentation on Project Reality and shared Flickr links. During the Q and A, I was asked how much time I spent putting everything together -- I estimated probably five or six hours max. With any passion project, however, the hours can roll by so fast!
Later, I introduced my Net Sleuths Headquarters to some of the attendees and gave a short presentation on the Zodiac Killer, probably the most infamous and unsolved serial-killer case in U.S. history. After that, we drove back to the GBR Dealership and chatted before wrapping up the evening. A big thank you to everyone who participated!
The Flickr link below has images of all the models with their names on vanity plates. The images in the album are public and can be downloaded for free. If you want to take a deeper dive into my project, check out the background notes on photo editing.
