Glob's New Video and Recent Events...

 

Glob's YouTube sequel video dropped on May 24th, 2026, and I think most thereians would agree it was well worth the wait.  The first half unfolded like the Director's Cut of a popular film, and I thought it was fun and insightful to see extended conversations and various scenes play out in the sequel.

I know some people in the comments section were not happy with this format, but that's why the fast-forward button exists, people. I had an afternoon free and was perfectly content with a nearly one-hour running time. Upon finding out about the video's Sunday-afternoon release, I quickly created a watch-party event at my cafe and had a decent-sized crowd show up. Shout-out to Cazz_luv for creating a promo poster on the fly!

Seeing various friends and familiar faces show up in Glob's video was cool. Over the past year, I have gotten to know Mortazel, Nuvora, and PumpkintoGo pretty well. Mistyaqua, Mortazel, and PumpkintoGo have also attended several of my podcast and video events at Words and Lyrics. I hope to have some more compelling content just around the corner in June, guys.

During our watch party, someone mentioned it was great to hear the laughter of Kateshappy, -- so true! I think we were ALL thinking the same thing when she let out that boisterous and hearty guffaw.  Also two-thumbs up to Glob on his sublime editing skills, which really elevate the content and provide some very emotional scenes at times.

At a recent Books and Tea gathering, Francis7 talked about how Glob's video would be a great entrant in film festivals. I think that is a great idea, and this sentiment often pops up in the YouTube comments section as well.  It was also great to see Francis leading Glob on a tour of Miracle Pictures Studios, as this creation deserved to be seen on YouTube.

So all in all, a solid '10 for Glob and everyone who participated in the sequel. When does Part 3 begin filming? lol

Mafia Week has also been a lot of fun with all the events taking place at the White House and other locations. I had a great time at Delight's Cozy-Night In; she and Cazz-luv also entertained us at the Mafia Fashion Show.  My ONLY disappointment was getting double-tapped by Yinzer Jamt while sitting in the front row. Where is Mango Market security when you need 'em? lol

In other news, SynCity is moving to a new location in the Southwest corner of Aurora Island. Looking forward to dropping by there once everything is put together again.
