Cazz_Luv...My Year in There
My Year in There.com Hi everyone! I’m Cassidy, better known as Cazz_Luv, and this past year in There.com has been an absolute whirlwind in the best possible way.
While many people may know this already (and some may not), I originally started playing There.com as a kid. I hadn’t returned in a full capacity for many years, but when Glob’s video brought hundreds of new players into the game, I found myself jumping right back in and looking for ways to help.
Alongside my mom, Flygirl_Dani, and Flattering, we met countless new players who were interested in designing, creating, and becoming part of the development community. We had a crazy idea: what if there was a central place where new members could discover developers, creators, and community groups? From that idea, Mango Market was born.
Throughout the summer, I also had the opportunity to carry on a tradition started by my dad, XcalurRadio, by DJing every Friday night at Club Wow. It was an incredible experience, and I had so much fun connecting with the community through music and events.
After taking a short break during the fall, I returned in February for Groundhog Week. My mom and I organized a two-week celebration filled with community activities and plenty of people running around in groundhog suits. One of the highlights was when BR34D secretly collaborated with us to surprise my mom on the final day. In the middle of his show, we switched the stream without her knowing, and suddenly a huge Club Wow party broke out!
What started as a fun nickname quickly grew into something much bigger. Together we began hosting races and Buggy Bashes that became incredibly popular. Many nights our zones were completely packed, with barely enough room for everyone who wanted to participate. Later, Delight partnered with Kiryahava to bring late-night card games to Buggy Bash events, creating another great way for the community to gather on Saturday nights.
Outside of events, I’ve also enjoyed creating videos and sharing our adventures across TikTok, Discord, and YouTube. Capturing the fun and excitement of the community has become one of my favorite hobbies.
Our biggest achievement this year was undoubtedly Mafia Week. Alongside my fellow Mango Mafia members, I helped coordinate nearly 35 events throughout the week. Between Flygirl_Dani, Kiryahava, and myself, we awarded over one million T-Bux in prizes. We even used the White House as our headquarters for the entire event. Seeing so many people participate, laugh, compete, and come together made all the planning worth it.
Looking back, it’s amazing to see everything that has happened. From launching Mango Market and DJing at Club Wow, to organizing community-wide events, racing with friends, creating videos, and helping grow the Mango Mafia, this year has been full of unforgettable memories.
As an added bonus, I also had the opportunity to assist Michael Wilson and Sasha with testing and providing feedback on both the new Mac client and the updated Windows client. Being able to contribute to the future of There.com in that way was incredibly rewarding.
Thank you to everyone who made this year so special. Whether you attended an event, raced with us, shopped at Mango Market, listened to a DJ set, or simply stopped by to say hello—you helped make this one of the most fun and memorable years I’ve ever had in There.com. Here’s to another amazing year ahead.
