Weekend in Review

I spent a lot of time on there.com over the past few days, and kicked things off with my open house on Friday evening from 6 to 9 pm. Several visitors dropped in and looked around, and I mentioned Frank's upcoming concert on March 7th. There are a couple pamphlets at my cafe with Youtube links to his music; you can find them on the stage and one below if you'd like to take a look. I also did some tours of my Netsleuths HQ, which I had set up on an adjacent island.

I hosted an event on Saturday evening that featured the Crawlspace podcast. Hosted by Tim Pilleri and Lance Reenstierna, the focus of the discussion was "gaslighting" and how people manipulate others. Their guest was Dr. Robin Stern, author of "The Gaslight Effect: How to Survive the Hidden Manipulation Others Use to Control Your Life."

After the podcast ended, I ventured over to a buggy-bash event hosted by Kiryahava. It was a lot of fun, and I tried to capture the mayhem and chaos of the evening by snapping some photos. Check out Polyphia (orange buggy) going airborne in the top photo of this blog entry!

This morning, I watched the second half of the ice-hockey, gold medal game between the USA and Canada. Both teams played at an incredible level, with the USA ultimately winning in overtime. Amazing this is the USA's first gold in men's hockey since the 1980 Olympics in Lake Placid.
