Super Bowl 60!
For the past week or so, I have been doing some decorating at the venue for our upcoming Super-Bowl weekend. BABS did a nice job literally setting the stage for this party by setting up a football field with goal posts. Rowdi_Designs has also helped out a lot by adding such items as table snacks, drinks, and a bar in the end zone.
MikeytheItalian has created some cool props that will debut during the Saturday evening festivities. I have tried both, and they look great. Mikey, i tuoi talenti sono apprezzati! Grazie mille.
BABS set up a stage and runway on the field, where Delight will host a fashion show on Saturday evening, February 7th, starting at 7:30 pm. Droopy is also going to spin records Saturday evening in a musical tribute to SB entertainers of the past 25 years. The Super Bowl watch party will take place on Sunday, February 8th -- doors will open at 6:00 pm Eastern Time with the kick-off at 6:30 pm.
In decorating for this event, I decided to highlight certain players from past Super Bowl and playoff performances; you will see game jerseys for Joe Montana, Emmitt Smith, and Lynn Swann. Joe Montana set the standard for SB performances at the quarterback position in the 1980s and 1990, while Smith and Swann starred at the running back and wide receiver positions, respectively.
