We had a pretty good turnout for the Jaws watch party on Saturday evening. It was fun watching the movie with a group and talking about the things that make it so thrilling and scary.

Just seeing how logistically challenging this movie was made me think Jaws should have won a few more Academy Awards than it did. Jaws' film shooting schedule was supposed to last 55 days but actually took 159. And the performance by Robert Shaw is incredible.

Club Wow was also a lot of fun last Friday evening, and the shark-week(end) vibe was going strong all night. Incredibly, the dance floor was never closed down despite a number of fins being spotted! A special shout-out to Club Wow for promoting my Jaws watch party on Saturday.
